Overall Goals:
In this course students will develop basic language skills, particularly in oral comprehension and expression. Course content includes grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation at an elementary level. This includes the alphabet, numbers, the verbs 鈥渢o be鈥� and 鈥渢o have鈥� including question and negative forms, as well as basic survival phrases.

The course aims to enhance the development of essential communicative skills and knowledge of the German language and knowledge of the culture that enables participation in simple exchanges and to understand written messages.

Intended Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
