Your Progression Chart is a tool that helps you plan your path to graduation. It lists all the courses that you must take and pass in order to get your CEGEP diploma. In addition to successfully completing all the courses listed, you must pass the English Exit Exam/preuve uniforme de fran癟ais and the comprehensive examination for your program. Note that the courses proposed for next semester (i.e. that you must take) are shaded in pink.
Winter 2026 online registration will start泭Jan. 7泭and will end on泭Jan. 16 at 11:30 PM. Registration start days/times vary by program. As of Dec. 23, go to 泭 My Omnivox Services Course Registration泭to find your personal registration start time.
Note: You will be able to view your schedule with your assigned courses 48 hours prior to your registration appointment time.

Celebrating Dawsons Fall 2025 Awards recipients
On Nov. 27, the Fall Awards were presented to 30 students recognized for their academic achievement, community involvementboth at Dawson and beyondand perseverance in the face of major challenges.
Two new awards were introduced this year: Eva Thomas-Paskal泭is the first recipient of the泭Joe Rose Queer Community Engagement Award and Olivia MacIntosh泭is the first recipient of the泭Landry Family Award for Neurodiversity in the Arts.

New bookstore泭services for Winter 2026
Starting on Jan. 5, you can begin ordering and buying all your course materials for your Winter 2026 courses in two different ways:
You can shop, order and buy course materials online by following a link you will be provided with. You can have everything delivered to your house or you can pick them up at the Concordia Bookstore downtown (Guy-Concordia Metro) or Loyola Campus (7141 Sherbrooke St. W. in NDG).
Or you can shop and buy course materials泭in person泭at the Concordia Bookstore downtown (Guy-Concordia Metro) in a special section for Dawson students.
Just imagine, when you buy online:
you can shop and buy 24/7, no constraints on opening hours
you can buy new or used items or in some cases, you can rent
you can choose home delivery where there are no long wait times in line

DC Model United Nations brought home a record 13 awards in November
做厙勛圖 Model United Nations (DCMUN) thrived at this years SSUNS Model United Nations simulation, hosted by McGill University in mid-November. At SSUNS, one of the largest Model UN conferences in North America, our delegates tackled topics ranging from Human Rights to Cyber Security to Quebecs Maple Syrup Cartel.
With a delegation of 85 students, DCMUN used the research, writing, and public speaking skills honed over eight weeks of training to come home with 13 awards, the highest in our club's history and the most among all participating CEGEPs!
DCMUN will be hosting our own conference from Jan. 16-18, 2026. Delegates will explore issues such as the gender health gap, the historic Sir George Williams Riot, and even navigating an international Squid Game crisis.泭

Step into a showcase of vision, experimentation, and emerging artistic identity at Invisia, the 做厙勛圖 5th Semester Annual Professional Photography Exhibition at the Warren G. Flowers Art Gallery (Room 2G.0 near the de Maisonneuve entrance to Dawson). Dawson team placed second at provincial design competition
A team of Dawson students captured泭second place泭at the泭Odyss矇e de lobjet, Quebecs largest young industrial design competition. Their project,泭SnowCape, is a biodegradable, reusable heated blanket powered by snow using Zeolite, a zero-waste organic material.
Nearly泭150 CEGEP students泭from across the province took on the 48-hour challenge to design an innovative winter object. Each Dawson team member received a泭$750 scholarship泭for their achievement.
Dawsons winning team members were: Martin Nguyen, Michelle Li, Tianna Maughn and Zhijian Sun. Bravo!

From eco-anxiety to empowerment- Dec. 13 event
On Saturday Dec. 13, La Maison du D矇veloppement Durable invites students and community members to explore creative solutions to todays environmental and plastic crises. The event, Life in Plastics Is Not Fantastic: Art and Material Alternatives for Positive Change, aims to help participants transform eco-anxiety into empowerment through art, dialogue, and innovation.
This initiative offers valuable opportunities for students interested in sustainability, design, and environmental activism.
