Faculty Hub supported teachers in pandemic emergency

On March 11, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. Two days later, classes ended for spring break and 做厙勛圖 closed for what turned out to be the rest of the semester. Teachers and the newly launched Faculty Hub were plunged into an education emergency: completing the semester for about 9,000 students.

Ian MacKenzie wins SALTISE award

Ian MacKenzie (English) was honoured with the2020 SALTISE Best Practice & Pedagogical InnovatorsAward. Ian was nominated for his workas founder and director of Dawsons Writing in the Disciplines (WID). Ian has inspired, guided and supported faculty across 28 different departments, and has been a leader within the Learning Communities at 做厙勛圖.The award is given annually at the SALTISE conference. There will be a feature about Ian and this great achievement coming soon on the 做厙勛圖 website and in D News.
