AI Grants Awarded to Dawson Researchers
Congratulations to both Catherine Fichten and Joel Trudeau on each being awarded $100,000 towards AI research from听 (PIA)!
In collaboration with Concordia, McGill’s teaching hospital, Lady Davis Institute, and C茅gep And茅-Laurendeau, Catherine and her team will be examining听how virtual assistants and AI-based smartphone apps help post-secondary students with disabilities succeed in their studies.
Joel Trudeau’s听partnership with Concordia听on the听鈥淎rtificial Intelligence Competency Frameworks: A success pipeline from听College to University and beyond鈥澨�is an inter-institutional (Cegep-University) initiative to establish a community of practice around AI.
